How to create your community on WhatsApp
This is a new feature that allows you to create a community space on WhatsApp that centralizes related group discussions. For example, you can launch a community for your sports club, and create different groups in this community (matches, training, partnerships, etc.). How to start your community on WhatsApp
To create your WhatsApp community:
Open your WhatsApp application and select the Communities tab (top left on Android, bottom center on iPhone),
Then click on Launch a community, then Start,
Choose a name, photo, and description for your community, then click Next.
Press Create a new group or Add an existing group to add groups within your created community space, then click Next to validate the creation of your community.

What you need to know about a community and associated groups:
You can add up to 50 groups in your WhatsApp community,
You can add 1024 members per group,
The "ad group" corresponds to the main group of your community, it allows you to send messages to all members of the community. Only admins can write in this group,
The ad group can contain up to 5,000 members,
For each group, you can add a description in the settings (what is the group for exactly?)
In a WhatsApp community, there can be several admins,
Conversations from groups in your community also appear in your main Discussions tab.
How to add a member in his WhatsApp community
To add a member to a group in your WhatsApp community:
Go to the group in question,
Click on the name of the group at the top of the screen,
You will see lots of options, scroll down and click on Add Members option. You can add multiple people at the same time.
Good to know: once the person has been added to a group, they can request access to other groups in the community if they wish.
How to add an admin in your WhatsApp community
Do you want to delegate the management of your community for certain groups? Learn how to add an admin to a group in your community space:
Go to your WhatsApp community group,
Click on the name of the group at the top of the screen to display the options,
scroll down the screen until you see the list of group members,
Click on the desired person, and choose the option Appoint group admin.
Good to know: to delete an admin, simply click again on the contact's name in the list of members, and this time choose Dismiss the admin.
